一、教材分析
整个单元以谈论“动物”为主线,将动物的名字和动物居住的地方的名字结合起来。其实在第二单元里面学生已经掌握了一些动物的名字和动物们的一些特征,在第三单元主要学习动物的居住地。所以第二单元的学习给第三单元的学习做了一些很好的铺垫。本单元的第一个课时为Listen and practice 部分,在这里学生要掌握一些单词如:desert, forest, lake, mountain...等。还要掌握句型Where do they live ? They live in the....
二、教学目标
1、语言知识目标
a、掌握动物的名字,如 squirrels, camels, frogs, whales, sharks等,以及熟记一些地理和国家的名字,如, mountain, forest, sea, desert, Australia, Canada 等。
b、熟练掌握并应用下列句型:
Where do they live ?
They live in the...
及复习句型 Why do you like them ?
Because they are + adj
Because they have + 名词词组
2、能力目标
能用所学到的语言知识与实际生活结合起来,使学习过程生活化。
3、情感目标
培养学生积极主动的学习心理状态,调动学习内驱力,通过两人对话、小组活动、能够表达自己喜爱的动物,他们的特征,以及他们的居住地,培养学生的交际能力和学习主动性。
三、教学设计
Step 1. Warming Up
Present some pictures about animals, and then ask students what are they ? ( camels, frogs, whales, bears, giraffes....)
Step2 Present
What are they ?
They are camels.
Do you like them ?
Yes , I do ./ No , I don’t
Why ?
Because they are + adj
Because they have + n
Please tell me , where do they live ?
在此处呈现新单词的图片, 先问一下有没有学生知道。 然后老师再教读几次,操练环节可以是one by one, two by two , four by four, line by line, group by group, high voice and low voice, bomb game 等。 句子操练环节可以是pair work , boys ask and girls answer , group 1 ask and group 2 answer, I ask you answer 等活动。就以这样的方式把其他的单词也练习了。
